Attended Pueblo South High School from 1982-86, competing in both football and wrestling.
Wrestling Achievements:
● District Wrestling Champion 1985, 1986.
● 138 Lbs. Class (AAA) Colorado State Wrestling Champion 1986.
● One of three undefeated Pueblo South wrestlers in the history of the program 18-0-1.
Football Achievements:
● Played weak side Linebacker next to Chris Haering 1985, 1986.
● Was on the first South team to ever make the State Football Playoffs in 1986.
Coaching Achievements:
● Urenda has been a successful wrestling assistant at Pueblo South H.S., from 1991 to present (25 years).
● Won three State Wrestling Team Titles: 1997, 2004, 2005.
● Three State Wrestling Runner-up Finishes: 1999, 2006, 2012.
● Won six Regional Wrestling Titles: 1997, 1999, 2003, 2005, 2009, 2012.
● Five Regional Runner-up Finishes: 2000, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2013.
● The Colts wone 11 SCL League Titles: 1997, 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014.
● Urenda helped 180 wrestlers from Pueblo South become state qualifiers. The Colts have 96 state placers and 18 individual champions.
Honors:
1986 - Selected and Wrestled in the "Colorado All-State Games."
1986 - Pueblo Referee's Association "Most Valuable Wrestler in the City of Pueblo."
2012 - Colorado Assistant Coach of the Year (Scholastic Division of Colorado).
2014 - National Assistant Coach of the Year (Scholastic Division Region 6).

● As director of P.O.W.A Tim started a Wrestling Scholarship Fund that has awarded wrestlers through out the city, who have been in the club and want to continue there education in college.
