Louie Carleo Thank You!

The Pueblo Greater Sports Association (GPSA) would like to thank Louie Carleo, the owner of LDC properties for his partnership with the GPSA.

Carleo, an inductee of the GPSA class of 2004, has provided a home for inductee pictures of the GPSA inside the Thatcher Building (503 N. Main Street).

The 1973-2004 induction classes are currently on display in the hallway on the first floor.

A special THANK-YOU Louie for providing this service for the GPSA.

Thanks to Our GPSA Donors

The Greater Pueblo Sports Association (GPSA) would like to extend its sincerest thanks all those who have sponsored the GPSA Banquet since it's inception in 1973.

Without the support of these sponsors, there would be no banquet that takes place each November and the awards the honorees receive.

CSU-Pueblo Athletics Partners with GPSA Hall of Fame

Dr. Paul PlinkseThe Department of Athletics at CSU-Pueblo (CSU-P) and the Greater Pueblo Sports Association (GPSA) Hall of Fame have reached a partnership agreement for the next five years (2022-2026) for use of the Hall of Fame Room at Massari Arena and the Occhiato Student Center (OSC) Ballroom according to Dr. Paul Plinske, Vice President for Athletics and Stragetic Partnerships at CSU Pueblo.

The partnership allows the GPSA to store specific items in a secure storage room, hold their monthly meetings (held on the third Monday of each month except June and July) and display those inducted into the GPSA Hall of Fame inside the Hall of Fame Room at Massari Arena.

The annual GPSA Hall of Fame Banquet is held on the third Wednesday in November at OSC Ballroom. The GPSA in return will recognize CSU-P as a major sponsor, providing a CSU-P table to honor the Spank Blasing Outstanding male athlete and the Jessie Banks Outstanding female athlete at each year's banquet. The GPSA is very Thankful for this partnership with CSU-P.
