High School:
Attended Pueblo Centennial School from 1952-54...Three-year letterman in basketball (forward)... Also lettered a year each in football (end) and track (weights) for the Bulldogs...Poston was named to the All-Conference team twice in basketball and led the S-CL in scoring. 

College:
Myron attended Pueblo Junior College... He lettered two years in Basketball, earning both All-Conference and All-American honors (1954-56)... Poston was selected as the MVP of the National Junior College Tournament (1956) he played in under legendary basketball coach Harry "Chief" Simmons.

Poston was born in Canon City, CO and lived in Pueblo for 27 years... Myron passed away on March 9, 2018.
