Advanced Education: Pechek continued his post-graduate studies at Notre Dame, earning a Masters Degree in 1966... He graduated with a second Masters Degree from Purdue University (PU) in Lafayette, IN in 1969.
Coaching Background: Spent three years (1973-75) as the head wrestling coach at Notre Dame while also teaching Physical Education activity courses... he led the Irish to a 24-18-1 record....Moved to Oceanside, CA where where he was named the defensive coach of the football team for eight seasons at Mira Costa College (MCC)...He was also the men's and women's tennis coach at MCC for 16 years and the wrestling coach for four seasons.
