Attended Pueblo Centennial H.S., graduating in 1947.

Achievements:
High School:
● Was an all-around athlete for the Bulldogs, playing four years of basketball (guard) and track from 1944-47, and three seasons (1943-46) of football as a halfback.
● Voted the Outstanding football player award in Centennial's game against Central in 1946.
● Bulldogs record point holder in football with 144 points.

College:
Attended to the following colleges to further his education:
● Cornell University, New York, 1948 (was given a four-year football scholarship in 1947).
● Pueblo Junior College (PJC), Pueblo, CO earning an A.A. Degree in 1949.
● University of Denver, Denver, CO, graduating in 1951.
● Continued his post-graduate studies at Western State College in Gunnison, CO, earning a M.A. degree in 1966 and a Ph.D from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO in 1970.

Achievements:
College:
● Played football (halfback) for two seasons from 1947-48 and guard on the basketball team for two years (1948-49).
● Played halfback on the Pioneers football team for two years (1949-50).

Coaching Career:
● Spent four years as the head football coach at Pueblo Catholic H.S. (1955-58), posting a 30-10-3 record with the Shamrocks.
● His teams won two state championships (1955, 1957) and tied for the state title in 1958.

Contributions:
● Spent 11 years (1959-69) working as a football and basketball official.
● Worked at Southern Colorado State College (SCSC) as the Director of Admissions.
● Dean of Student Affairs and Vice President for Administrative Affairs when it was called the University of Southern Colorado (formerly SCSC).
● Also served as the Vice President for Administration at Sinclair Community College located in Dayton, Ohio.

Occupation:
● Broker and Manger on the Real Estate business.
● Teacher and coach and Administrator at Southern Colorado State College (Now CSU-Pueblo).

Personal:
Lived in Pueblo, CO with his wife, Joan... Passed away on December 22, 2012 at age 83.
