Attended Pueblo East H.S., graduating in 1980...Lettered four years (1977-80) on the Pueblo East track team...Played three years and was a letterman on the Eagles football team, playing guard and linebacker from 1976-80...Also played basketball for two seasons (1979-80).

●Assembled and ran the Pueblo Crusaders - a Semi-Pro football for four seasons (1987-90)...Won the National Championship 1989...The Crusader beat teams from Oklahoma City, Los Angeles, Denver, Boulder and Colorado Springs, West Palm Beach, FL., Dallas, and San Francisco...Runner-up National Championship 1990.
● Served for five years (1991-96) Athletic Director at the University of Southern Colorado.
● Named to the Pueblo East High School Hall of Fame.
● Earned the 1994 University of Southern Colorado Alumni Award for Fund Raising.
● Helped the University of Southern Colorado raise over One Million Dollars in fundraising.
