It was stated that Pitchers Alexander Ferguson and Robert McGraw of the Yankees had notified Manager Huggins of their discharge from the Army. R.T. McGraw, superintendent of the Rio Grande railroad, the boys father, received a letter from the secretary of the Yankees in which was enclosed a contract to be signed by Robert.
