High School:
Attended Pueblo South H.S., graduating in 1963...Won six varsity letters (three each) playing basketball and Golf for the Colts for three seasons (1960-63).

Achievements:
High School:
● Played in the 1963 All-State basketball game.
● Placed runner-up at the State Golf Championship his senior year to Hale Irwin in 1963.

Coaching Career:
● Was an assistant basketball coach at Pueblo South H.S., and spent 27 years as the head golf coach for the Colts.
● The 1978 golf team on the state championship...Team members were: Kevin Chapman, Paul Boucher, Jim Brooks, Steve Ivan, and Charlie Little.
● Also the Colts girls basketball head coach for 10 seasons.

Related Activities:
● Rich won four Pueblo City Championships in golf.
● Teamed with Jim Brooks and won eight two-man Memorial titles.
● At age 65 (2010) still can be found at Elmwood where he works on the maintenance crew and serves as Tournament Director for the Two-Man Memorial and the City Championship Tournament.
● Ran the State Golf Tournament at Walking Stick.
