Coaching Career:
● Spent 26 years (1950-76) as the head basketball coach at Rye High School, Rye, CO.
● Led the Thunderbolts to four state basketball appearances (1956, 1959, 1963 and 1968) winning the state championship with his first team in 1956.
● Head basketball coaching record at Rye was 384-150 losses.
● Overall career record at both Rye H.S. and Murray State was 439-176.
● Also served as the Thunderbolts baseball coach for five years (1957-61) and coached Rye's 8-man football team for a season (1959).
