Attended Pueblo Central H.S.... Played football (guard) and wrestling for the Wildcats.

Achievements:
High School:
● Member of the 1947 football team that won the state championship.
● Went to the 1947 State Wrestling Tournament at 120 lbs and lost by decision to Ontiveros from Aurora.
● Also competed in golf and track (880, hurdles) for Central.

College:
Attended Pueblo Junior College (PJC) and received a degree in business.

Related Activities:
● Swam for the Steel City YMCA.
● Went undefeated in freestyle and took 3rd Place in the "Fancy Diving".

Occupation:
● Worked for the City of Pueblo for 39 years, 27 of those years as Superintendent of golf course.
● Also was the President of the Employees Federal Credit Union for 24 years.

Honors:
Recipient of the state’s outstanding volunteer of the Colorado Union financial & support system in 1985.
