GPSA Meetings

THERE ARE NO MEETINGS SCHEDULED FOR THE REST OF 2020 DUE TO COVID-19. Below are the TENTATIVE meetings dates for the GPSA during the 2021 calendar year. All meeting are held on the third Monday of the month in the GPSA at Massari Arena. Dates are subject to change if necessary.

Banquet Date/Application Deadline

The deadline for nominations each year is Aug. 1.  The 2020 Banquet is tentatively set for Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021. Go to the Application tab above to download and fill out an application today.

Julius F. "Bud" Dammann

High School: Went to Pueblo Centennial, graduating in 1930...Lettered four years (1926-29) playing football (Halfback) and guard on the basketball team (1927-30) for the Bulldogs...Earned All District and All State honors in basketball in 1930... Also participated in track (discus and javelin).

College: Attended Colorado State University for four years but didn’t finish due to illness of his father...Three year letterman (1930-33) on the Rams football team playing quarterback... His college coach, Harry Hughes stated "Bud Dammann was the best quarterback he has ever coached!"

Occupation:  Dammann was the President of Industrial Gas Products - distribution & wholesale of Industrial gases & related products

Personal: Lived in Pueblo with his wife Ruth Counter... Passed away on July 8, 2000.
