GPSA Meetings

Below are the TENTATIVE meetings dates for the GPSA during the 2022 calendar year. All meeting are held on the third Monday of the month in the GPSA at Massari Arena. Dates are subject to change if necessary.

Banquet Date/Application Deadline

The deadline for nominations each year is Aug. 1.  The 2022 Banquet is tentatively set for Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2022. Go to the Application tab above to download and fill out an application today.

James G. "Jim" Reynolds

High School: Attended Pueblo Central H.S.... Played football (End) and basketball (Forward) for for the Wildcats (1957-60)... Earned All-Conference and All-State football kudos in 1959... Offered the opportunity to play in the Colorado All-Star Football Game (1960)...Was a member of the Wildcats' basketball team as a forward...two-time All-Conference and All-State selection (1959-59)...Played on Central's 1959 Conference Championship team which finished 3rd in the State Tournament...Led the South Central League in Scoring and led the State in Scoring (1959-60)...Played in Colorado High School All-Star Game (1960)...Played one year of golf, winning the South Central League Golf Championship (1960).

College: Recruited by 50 or so Division I schools to play basketball and football, including Utah, Stanford, Kansas, CU and others...Attended Abilene Christian University (ACU) 1960-1964...Set all-time scoring records for highest scoring averages, most points in one game (45)...Inducted into the ACU Hall of Fame in 1990

Professional: Drafted by the Cincinnati Royals in 1964.

Contributions: Have written five books in the area of theology and ethics. Lectured in Ireland and England on sexual morality issues...Lectured and taught at University of Texas, Pepperdine University, Lipscomb University, and United Seminary of Belfast Ireland.

Personal: Lives in Fort Worth, TX with his wife, Donna Lea...Works as a family lawyer, Preacher and author... Has played basketball at state and national levels in Senior Leagues
