Attended Pueblo Centennial (graduated in 1966)...Lettered three years each (1964-66) for the Bulldogs in basketball (guard/forward), tennis (singles/doubles) and baseball (pitcher)... Played 3rd base or outfield when not pitching...Earned seven high school letters and was awarded Most Outstanding Athlete at Centennial in 1966...In American Legion baseball, Christy pitched a 7-inning game and faced 21 batters...One played got a single but was picked off of first base.
