GPSA Meetings

Below are the TENTATIVE meetings dates for the GPSA during the 2022 calendar year. All meeting are held on the third Monday of the month in the GPSA at Massari Arena. Dates are subject to change if necessary.

Banquet Date/Application Deadline

The deadline for nominations each year is Aug. 1.  The 2022 Banquet is tentatively set for Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2022. Go to the Application tab above to download and fill out an application today.

Henry Gordon "Hank" Gilmore

High School:   Attended Adams City H.S., in Commerce City, CO, graduating in 1935.
    
Athletic Accomplishments: Gilmore was the 1953 Southern Colorado All Around Skeet Champion, 1965 Southern Colorado Small Bore Champion and Club Champion for two consecutive years (1956-57)...Hank also was a champion in the State Skeet 20 Gauge and Rocky Mountain Trap Champion (1957), National 20 Gauge (1959), and State Small Bore Champion (1965)... He was runner-up in 1960 at the National 410 Gauge...In 1960,  Henry formed one of the top Semi-Pro Basketball teams in the West "Gilmore Trucking" that participated in the National Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Championships... He also sponsored many bowling and baseball teams.

Occupation: Worked for the Denver Transfer Company... In 1938, Gilmore moved to Pueblo as owner of Pueblo Feeding Company... During 1955, he started Gilmore Trucking Company which he maintained until his death. and in 1962, Gilmore formed the first landscaping stone company in Colorado...Hank held  interests in mining, oil wells, and business of all types (to numerous to mention).

Personal: Henry was married to Ruth... Passed away July 4, 1971 at age 55.
