High School:
Graduated form Edison Technical & Jefferson H.S., in Rochester, NY...Played baseball and basketball.

Related Activites:
Was a fast-pitch softball player for the "Super Bombers" from the Pueblo CO Air Base in 1945...Also played basketball for the American Legion for three seasons (1947-49) and the VFW-Post 61 for three years (1950-52).

Coaching Career:
Spent seven years (1947-53) as a catcher/coach/manager for the VFW-Post 61...Named to the All-American Team at Ft. Madison, Iowa in 1949...His VFW-coached team was the National Champions.

Accomplishments:
Officiated high school and college basketball games for 20 years (1947-67) and spent 10 seasons (1947-57) officiating high school and college football.
