Attended Pueblo Centennial H.S., graduating in 1954...Won 10 varsity letters playing four years (1950-54) of football (offensive and defensive line) and baseball (first base) as well as three years (1951-54) of basketball (guard) and track (shot put).

College:
Went to Colorado State College of Education in Greeley, CO (now the University of Northern Colorado) for three years (1955-58).

Athletic Achievements:
● Received a football scholarship to Colorado University (CU) in 1954-1955.
● Was awarded a football scholarship to Colorado State College of Education (UNC) for three years (1955-58).
● Played Slow-Pitch softball for several years in Pueblo Leagues.
● Was Elected to the Centennial High School Hall of Fame in 1977.
● Served as an assistant coach with Ed Posa at East High School.
● Coached with Sel Elizondo at Freed Middle School.
● Won Championship [1960] with an undefeated season in High School.

● Coordinator City Park Softball League (1960).
● Assistant football coach at Pueblo East H.S.
● Head basketball coach at Pueblo East H.S.
● Servedas the head football coach at Freed Junior High.

Occupation:
Mastrini was a Teacher/Coach for School District #60 at Freed Junior High and East High School.
