GPSA Meetings

Below are the TENTATIVE meetings dates for the GPSA during the 2022 calendar year. All meeting are held on the third Monday of the month in the GPSA at Massari Arena. Dates are subject to change if necessary.

Banquet Date/Application Deadline

The deadline for nominations each year is Aug. 1.  The 2022 Banquet is tentatively set for Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2022. Go to the Application tab above to download and fill out an application today.

Brian Hochevar

High School: Attended Pueblo South H.S., graduating in 1973... Played football, basketball and baseball for the Colts...Hochevar spent two seasons (1971-72) of football for the Colts at Quarterback. garnering All-City and All-Conference honors both seasons (71-72) and All-State recognition in 1972...Playing basketball, he earned All-City honors averaging 12.7 points her game. During his senior year of hoops...Brian was selected MVP and All-City, All-Conference, All-State and averaged 18.5 points per game...On the baseball diamond, Brian was All City in 1971 and All Conference in 1972.

College: Went to the University of Southern Colorado...Played guard on the Indians basketball team, from 1975-78...Hochevar helped lead the team to a 19-8 record earning All-Conference and All-District (1976-77)...During the 1977-78 season the Indians posted a record of 17-10 and Hochevar gained All-Conference recognition.

Professional: Brian signed as a Free Agent Denver Nuggets.

Coaching Background: Hochevar coached in both high school (Cripple Creek, Temple Baptist, and Smokey Hill) and junior college (Northeastern and Lamar Community College).

Personal: Married to Carmen.
