GPSA Meetings

Below are the TENTATIVE meetings dates for the GPSA during the 2022 calendar year. All meeting are held on the third Monday of the month in the GPSA at Massari Arena. Dates are subject to change if necessary.

Banquet Date/Application Deadline

The deadline for nominations each year is Aug. 1.  The 2022 Banquet is tentatively set for Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2022. Go to the Application tab above to download and fill out an application today.

Anthony Joseph "Tony" Ribaudo

High School: Attended Trinidad H.S., Trinidad, CO... Ribaudo was a three-sport standout for the Miners in football, basketball and baseball.

College: Went to Adams State College... Played on the Grizzles basketball team.

Coaching Background: Anthony did all his coaching at Rye H.S., in Rye, Colorado... He spent 22 years as the head coach of the Thunderbolts basketball team (1975-97)...Prior to that, Ribaudo was an assistant on the basketball squad for two years (1972-74)...Ribaudo also was the head track coach and an assistant on the football team.

Achievements:
    Career basketball team record was 447-123.
    Three-time State Basketball Championships (1982, 1991, 1993)
    His team qualified for the State tournament 16 times.
    Named Conference Basketball "Coach of the Year" 11 times
    Selected as the Colorado Basketball "Coach of the Year" seven times.
    Ribaudo is the fifth Winingest Basketball Coach in Colorado History

Occupation: Ribaudo was a Coach and Athletic Director (AD) at Rye High School,  AD at Pueblo West High School and AD for Pueblo School District #70.

Personal: Lives in Pueblo with his wife, Barbara
