Attended Pueblo Centennial H.S., graduating in 2002...Three-year member of the Bulldogs swim team from 1999 to 2002.

Went to Southern Methodist University (SMU)...Continued his post-graduate studies at SMU.

Athletic Achievements:
● Boys 4A State Champion in 50 and 100 Freestyle, both state records (1999).
● Boys 4A State Champion in 100 Freestyle, 2nd place 50 Freestyle (2000).
● Boys 4A runner up in 100 Breaststroke and 100 Freestyle (2001).
● National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) High School All-American, 100 Breaststroke (2001).
● Recorded the 20th fastest 100 yard breaststroke time in the Nation (2001).
● Boys 4A State Champion in 100 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke (2002).
● NISCA High School All-American Honorable mention, 100 free (2002).
● Had the 45th fastest 100 yard freestyle time in the nation (2002).
● NISCA High School All-American Honorable mention, 100 breaststroke (2002).
● Colorado 4A "Swimmer of the Year" (2002).
● Named Colorado All-State four straight years (1999-2002).
● At the time of his graduation, Wolther held 4A State record in 100 free.

● Two relay runner up (2002, 200 medley and 400 free relays.
● Held school/city/league records in: 50 free, 100 free, 200 free (school only), 100 breast, 200 IM, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, 400 free relay...Wolther was undefeated in league swim meets and dual meets.

Contributions:
● Selected as captain of the Pueblo Centennial H.S. swim team his senior year (2002).
● First State swimming champion in history of Pueblo Centennial H.S.
● First State swimming champion in Pueblo in 30 years.
● Most male individual state swimming championships for Pueblo.
● After his high school career, numerous athletes from Pueblo have captured state titles and Pueblo swimming appears to have had a revitalization.
●  Growing up from 7th Grade through high school, Wolther traveled 45 minutes each way to train with the Colorado Springs Swim Team at the Olympic Training Center, but since his graduation,
the athlete participation in Pueblo appears to have increased and enjoys a much stronger club swimming scene.
●  Pueblo Centennial H.S. changed the requirements for "Mr. C" as it has always been a two-sport award. Students can now be considered if outstanding in one sport.

Honors:
● Graduated eighth in Pueblo Centennial H.S. class of 2002.
● Member of the National Honor Society.
● Received academic scholarship to Southern Methodist University.
