● Military sponsor.
● First runner-up in the Canon City Rodeo Queen Pageant.
● Member of the Rainbow Girls' Organization.
● Top-ranked student, graduating 7th in her class.

Accomplishments:
Archery:
● Became a recognized sportsman in Archery having participated in the sport since 1963.
● Won the national Women's Professional indoor title in 1986.
● Won 40 Colorado State Archery Association Crowns and 11 overall Championships.
● With the National Field Archery Assoc. (NFAA), she won three Southwest Sectional titles for both indoors and outdoors.
● The Rocky Mountain Archery Association (RMAA) and the Pioneer Bowman Club of Pueblo (PBCP) has each awarded her 18 pro crowns.
● Served in various capacities in the PBCP including as the clubs' president.

Personal:
Lives in Pueblo with her husband, Merlin where they have lived since 1951 and raised four children...Active member in her church and the YMCA.
