Attended Pueblo South High School from 1992-95...Played point guard on the Colts basketball team (1992-95) and goalie on the soccer squad (1994-95).
Achievements:
High School:
● Helped the Colts win three consecutive state championships (1992-94)
● The highest scorer in South's four state tournament appearances (1992-94)
● Only freshman on basketball team that won the state crown in 1992.
● Led the South-Central League (S-CL) in scoring during sophomore year (16.ppg)
● Three-time All-League S-CL first team (1993, 94, 95)
● All-State honorable mention by The Denver Post during sophomore season.
● Did not start her junior season until January due to recovery from an ACL knee operation.
● Received the Denver TV Channel 4 - 5A "Player-of-the-Year" award (Only Pueblo athlete to receive this award).
● All-tournament 5A first team - The Denver Post.
● Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the 5A state tournament - The Denver Post.
● Averaged 14.7 ppg her senior season in leading Pueblo South to the state semi-finals.
● Top scorer for South in the state tournament (1992-95).
● Scored ten consecutive free throws in the final three minutes of the state championship game to give South a 54-45 win over Centaurus for the state title.

Soccer:
● Goalie on first South team to ever win the S-CL championship (13-0-1).
● Allowed only six goals in the regular season and had 26 saves in one game.
● Lost in the opening game of the 4A state tournament as a senior.
College:
Attended Otero Junior College in La Junta and was a member of the basketball team as a point guard for two seasons (1996-97).
