Went to Arizona State University... Played three years for the Sun Devils at #1 Singles.
College Achievements:
● Helped lead the team to a No. 5 national ranking.
● Played in several well-known venues: The Orange Bowl (Miami, FL), Fiesta Bowl (Phoenix, AZ), Cotton Bowl (Dallas, TX).
● Also played at the USTA Junior national in Kalamozoo, MI.
Tennis Career:
●Played in numerous tennis tournaments in Pueblo during his career - The National Public Parks Tournament, Abel Beaty Safeco, The Coca Cola, now named "The Paper Cup", and The State Fair Tournament.
● Played three years of tennis professionally from 1976-79.
Coaching Career:
● Worked at several facilities including Holydot in Rye, CO, The Pueblo Country Club, Paradise Valley Country Club and The Colorado Racket Club in Denver, CO.

Sister, Kathy, counted his tennis trophies (191 total) with 153 were for 1st Place.
