Contributions:
● Guided the growth of the Pueblo Tennis Club as its President for two decades, receiving the Dale R. Hill Trophy, which symbolized outstanding contributions to Tennis in 1964.
● First man to be honored as President of the Pueblo Tennis Club for two years.
● Founder of the "Dawn Patrol", a group of businessmen, Teachers and workers who played tennis before going to work.

Served for six years on the School Board of School District #60 (1955-61).
Honors:
Nominated for promotion to rank of Brigadier General in the Air Force Reserve (1973).
Occupation:
Worked for Abell-Beaty Insurance Agency beginning in 1947... Became sole owner in 1959.
