Attended Pueblo Central H.S.... Played football (End) and basketball (Forward) for for the Wildcats (1957-60)... Offered the opportunity to play in the Colorado All-Star Football Game (1960)...Was a member of the Wildcats' basketball team as a forward...Played on Central's 1959 Conference Championship team which finished 3rd in the State Tournament...Played one year of golf, winning the South Central League Golf Championship (1960).

● Earned All-Conference and All-State football kudos in 1959.
● Two-time All-Conference and All-State basketball selection (1958-59).
● Led the South Central League and the state in scoring (1959-60).
● Played in Colorado High School All-Star Basketball Game (1960).

Recruited by 50 or so Division I schools to play basketball and football, including Utah, Stanford, Kansas, CU and others...Attended Abilene Christian University (ACU) 1960-1964...Set all-time scoring records for highest scoring averages, most points in one game (45)...Inducted into the ACU Hall of Fame in 1990.
Contributions:
Reynolds has written five books in the area of theology and ethics... He has also lectured in Ireland and England on sexual morality issues...Jim was a professor at several institutions of higher education (University of Texas, Pepperdine University, Lipscomb University, and United Seminary of Belfast Ireland).
