Achievements:
College:
● Competed in Football and wrestling for a year (1939) and baseball for three seasons (1936-39) as the teams pitcher.
● Played under legendary coach Pete Butler on the Bears baseball team.
● Best known for pitching both ends of a doubleheader sweep against against Regis on May 13, 1939, where he earned the nickname "Iron Man" for his incredible performance.

Coaching Career:
First wrestling coach at Pueblo Central H.S. (1946).

Honors:
● University of Northern Colorado Hall of Fame (Class of 2000).
● University of Northern Colorado Alumni Award (1976).
● Pueblo Sports Hall Fame (1974).

Occupation:
Teacher and coach in School District #60 at Pueblo Central H.S.

Personal:
Lived in Pueblo, CO...Passed away on November 18, 1990.
