Dr. Donald Stutters

High School:
Attended Watonga H.S., in Watonga, OK, graduating in 1950...Played four years of football (1946-49), basketball (1947-50) and baseball (1947-50) for the Eagles. In baseball, Stutters was an During the summer months in high school (1946-49), played on the American Legion baseball squad. Led the team in hitting (.538 batting average in 1948) and was twice named to the All-American Legion Tournament Team (1948-49).

●  Earned All-Conference in football during both his junior and senior year and was selected to the All-State team his senior season.
● Garnered All-Conference selection in baseball his senior year.

Began his collegiate career at Midwestern University (MU) in Wichita Falls, TX, (1950-52) where he played both football and basketball...Left MU to attend Southwestern State College (SWSC) in Weatherford, OK, where as a football player he received Honorable Mention All-Conference his junior year and All-Conference his senior season...Also was a participant in basketball and baseball at SWSC..He graduated in 1954...Earned a Masters Degree from Southwestern University in 1958 and a Doctorate Degree on 1968 from the University of Colorado in Boulder CO.
