Attended St Bonaventure H.S., in Omaha, Nebraska, graduating in 1957...Three-sports standout, playing three years of football (Quarterback), basketball (Center) and track (Hurdler) for the Seraphs (1953-57)...Named sophomore Class President, Homecoming King, Student Council President and received a full athletic scholarship to Huron College in Huron, South Dakota.

● Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha First Team All-Stars, single season scoring record 438 points in 20 games for an average of 21.9 points per game.

Led the team as quarterback, team kicker, extra points, field goals, kickoffs, and punter.

Went to Huron College, in Huron, South Dakota where he graduated 1962..Member of the track squad as a hurdler for four years (1957-62) and played three season (1958-62) of in football (Quarterback) and basketball (Center)...Continued his post-graduate studies, completing a Masters degree at South Dakota State.

● Football: Assistant Coach - six years (1963-69).
● Basketball: JV Coach - five years (1964-69); Head Coach - six years (1970-76).
● Track: Head Coach - 29 years (1963-92).
● Tennis: Head Coach - 14 years (1978-92).

● Head Basketball Coach: 67 Wins 49 Losses. Southern League Champions 1970 and 1975. Co-Champions 1971-72.
● Head Tennis Coach: League Champion twice (1982-83) -- District Champions 1983.

● Offered a Professional football contract with the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League.

Lived in Pueblo with his wife, Ruth...He passed away on August 22, 2000 at age 61.
