Charlie ManningAthletic Achievements:
Manning played baseball for one season (second base: 1967) and was a member of the Wildcats wrestling team for a year (1968-69)... Manning played baseball for one season (second base: 1967) and was a member of the Wildcats wrestling team for a year (1968-69)... He played softball in the Pueblo city leagues for 40 years.

Coaching Background:
Manning coached softball at his alma mater (Central H.S.) for 15 seasons (1988-2003).

Contributions:
As Program Director at Runyon Field Sports Complex, he has achieved the following: Responsible for 2,000 youths that participate in the Runyon Field programs...Works seven (7) days a week from March to August, scheduling teams, hiring umpires - Seen growth of 46 youth baseball teams (age 7-14) rise to 93 teams in 2014...Saw the addition of 40 girls softball teams (ages 7-18).

Honors:
Inducted into the Pueblo Softball Hall of Fame in 2011...Played on several national softball tournament teams as a catcher...Was selected to many All-Tournament teams and named MVP several times.

Occupation:
Charlie has been the Program Director at the Runyon Field Sport Complex since 2009.

Personal:
Charlie has lived in Pueblo for 63 years and is married to Rosella Manning.
