Coaching Career:
● Spent his entire career coaching at Rye H.S., in Rye, Colorado.
● He spent 22 years as the head coach of the Thunderbolts basketball team (1975-97).
● Prior to that, he was an assistant on the basketball squad for two years (1972-74).
● Also was the head track coach and an assistant on the football team.

● Three-time State Basketball Champions (1982, 1991, 1993).
● His teams qualified for the State tournament 16 times.
● Named Conference Basketball "Coach-of-the-Year" 11 times.
● Selected as the Colorado Basketball "Coach-of-the-Year" seven times.
● Listed as the fifth Winingest Basketball Coach in Colorado History.
