GPSA Meetings

Below are the TENTATIVE meetings dates for the GPSA during the 2022 calendar year. All meeting are held on the third Monday of the month in the GPSA at Massari Arena. Dates are subject to change if necessary.

Banquet Date/Application Deadline

The deadline for nominations each year is Aug. 1.  The 2022 Banquet is tentatively set for Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2022. Go to the Application tab above to download and fill out an application today.

Judith Kathryn "Judy" Hildner

High School: Attended Pueblo Catholic High, graduating in 1966...Served as the sports statistician for three years (1964-66)...Was a member of the Student Government Pueblo Catholic in 1962, and was given the Outstanding Senior Award (1966).

College: Went to Southern Colorado State College (SCSC), and graduated in 1969...Hildner was a dual major at SCSC, studying Graphics and Mass Communication.

Achievements: Judy was a member of the Runyon Field Board of Directors and served as its Treasurer...Served on the CHSAA Hall of Fame Founding Committee and the Colorado Press Association...Elected to be the Chairman for the 1996 Colorado Sports Hall of Fame...Regional President of the Pueblo Newspaper Guild (1996-97)...South Central League Media Award (1989)...Treasurer of the Southern Colorado Press Club... Hildner was a member of School District #60 R&R Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee.

Occupation: Worked for 46 years with The Pueblo Chieftain Newspaper (since 1966)...Judy was probably the first woman newspaper Sports Editor in Colorado (from 1990 to Sept. 2012 - 22 years) - Retired end of Sept. 2012.

Personal: Lives in Pueblo with her husband, Jack Hildner...Proud mom of twin sons Matt and Thad.
