Frederick Martin "Fred" Trujillo

Coaching Background: Fred was a Bantam League Football coach (Vineland Stallions) and Volunteer in Pueblo for 32 years: Some of the players he coached were:
    Pat Ballage (Notre Dame)
    Brent Tillman (Wyoming)
Cedric Tillman (University of Northern Colorado)
Joe Massorotti (University of Northern Colorado)
    Fred Galves (Colorado College)
    John Drury (Mesa State)
Ryan Lown (University of Southern Colorado - baseball)
Luke Gradishar (San Francisco - baseball)
    Brock Koman  (Michigan - baseball)

What He Said (Fred Trujillo):
"After the Game I gather the boys and tell them to take their helmets off. When their helmets are off, they need to change their attitudes. They aren't football players anymore. I tell them to go back to being a good boy, a good son, a good brother. They need to do their homework and keep up their grades. I’ve coached kids who turned out to be doctors, lawyers and teachers. The pay is not so good, but I get a lifetime of rewards and a lot of good friends through all of this.”

Occupation: Retired from the Phone Company.

Personal:  Lives in Pueblo with his wife, Vivian.
